Bulverde Texas?? Where the heck is Bulverde Texas?
Bulverde is a small town north of San Antonio, considered to be on the “front porch” of Texas hill country.
What is there to do in Bulverde Texas?
LOTS! For starters, Bulverde has its own rodeo every Saturday night, with bull riding, barrel racing, mutton busting, and all the usual rodeo stuff, as well as a first-class steakhouse and saloon! https://tejasrodeo.com/
Then there’s Natural Bridge Caverns, the largest commercial caverns in Texas and right next door, a drive-thru safari wildlife ranch.
For water recreation, only 15 miles away lies the “jewel” of Hill Country, the 8000+ acre Canyon Lake, complete with 8 parks, par 72 golf course, lodging, camping, etc. Then there’s the shopping: The towns of Boerne (20 miles), New Braunfels (20 miles) , Wimberly (35 miles), Fredericksburg (58 miles), are all legendary shopping locations, as well as the San Marcos Outlets (42 miles). And finally, don’t forget San Antonio, with the Alamo, Riverwalk, Seaworld, 6 Flags, and more, all within 25-35 miles. You can plan quite a weekend to go with your clogging!
